He has been Wikinews reporter since 2005 and it is administrator from February 2007, apart from being sysop ("bibliotecario") of Spanish language Wikipedia since December 2005. | ||

Wikinoticias (Wikinews) is a Wikimedia Foundation project that has not achieved widespread acceptance in the internet communities due to several external factors associated to its sister project, Wikipedia. However, English Wikinews has reached an outstanding success in news spreading, due to support factors related to community growth and communicational improvement. In this talk I will discuss several problems related to the Spanish version, including how to gather a stable community and other problems related to external factors that have prevented a normal growth of the project. | ||
