From Wikimania
Wikimania is a yearly international conference organised by the Wikimedia Foundation.
Every year since 2005, the Wikimedia Foundation organises a conference dedicated to the Wikimedia Projects, the free knowledge and the wikis as a whole. The previous conferences were held in Frankfurt/Main (Deutschland 2005), Boston (USA 2006), Taipei (Taiwan 2007), and Alexandria (Egypt 2008).
The fifth annual conference was held from August 26-28, 2009 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
