| Joan R. Gomà is professor of manufacturing processes in Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He is also director of a technological center specialized in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) technologies. He is coauthor of two books on manufacturing technologies and has published 14 papers and holds 10 patents, 2 of them international.
He started editing Catalan Wikipedia on September the 2th 2007. Since then he has been editing regularly. Wikipedia has become his hobby as there are people that loves skiing or traveling he loves editing. He is pesident of the “Associació d’amics de la Viquipèdia”, a chapter like association whose main goal is to give support and promote Wikimedia projects outside cyberspace in Catalan speaking territories. | |
